AQUATICS

Aquatics Coordinator

Lifeguards: Flexible. Schedule may include early mornings, daytime hours, and evenings. Lifeguard certificate required.

Swim Instructors: Weekday afternoon and evening positions available. Experience is helpful but not necessary. Y will provide training.

CHILD CARE 

Summer Day Camp Counselors:  June, July, August, full time to part time positions, M-F. Need limited time off during these months, and needs to be here the whole summer. Working with children K- 5th grade. Need to be active, willingness to interact with students and have fun! For more information please see Gwen Lynch. 

Peach Tree Child Care Staff: Our licensed child care is seeking out a teacher or assistant teacher for a Monday through Friday part time position. Child Care centers follow Rule 3 for licensing and you can become a teacher / assistant teacher nine different ways. Some may need experience and some may need just college credits, Child Development is desirable, but we can train. The pay scale will be from $11.00 to $14.00 dollars an hour, with some YMCA benefits. Stop in and ask for Gwen Lynch to learn more.

MEMBERSHIP

Member Service Staff : The Member Service Staff is part of a team responsible for the overall delivery of excellent customer service to all members, guests, and program participants. The incumbent is responsible for the sale of memberships, responding to member and guest needs, promoting programs, and maintaining cleanliness and organization at the Membership Desk.

OPERATIONS & MAINTENANCE

Custodian: Part-time Evenings after closing (currently closing is M-TH 10 p.m. & Friday 8 p.m.) and 
Saturday & Sunday after closing (currently closing is 5:00 p.m.)
3 - 4 hours each day with the potential to increase. Responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of the areas assigned.  The incumbent is accountable for the completion of assigned duties with a minimum level of supervision.  Duties may include, but are not limited to sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, trash removal, window washing, and other general cleaning responsibilities.
