Lifeguards: Flexible. Schedule may include early mornings, daytime hours, and evenings. Lifeguard certificate required.
Swim Instructors: Weekday afternoon and evening positions available. Experience is helpful but not necessary. Y will provide training.
Peach Tree Child Care Staff: Our licensed child care is seeking a substitute teacher, assistant teacher or aide position. This position will be needed October through mid December of 2017, Monday through Friday with about 35 to 40 hours a week. The licensed Child Care follows Rule 3 for licensing. To become a teacher or assistant teacher we have nine different ways. Some may need experience and some may need college credits. If applying for a aide position, you will be trained on site. The pay scale for teacher/assistant teachers will range from $11.00 to $14.00/hour, with some YMCA benefits. The aide position will start at $9.50/hour. Contact Gwen Lynch for more information.
School Age Care Coordinator/Birthday Party Host: This position is during the 2017/2018 school year, September-May from 3-6pm Monday through Friday. We are looking for someone who is a leader, creative, self-starter, can build curriculum and manage a team of high school staff. This position also includes birthday party host, which is a year round position during the weekends for 4-8 hours. Member Service Staff : The Member Service Staff is part of a team responsible for the overall delivery of excellent customer service to all members, guests, and program participants. The incumbent is responsible for the sale of memberships, responding to member and guest needs, promoting programs, and maintaining cleanliness and organization at the Membership Desk.
OPERATIONS & MAINTENANCE
Custodian: Part-time Evenings after closing (currently closing is M-TH 10 p.m. & Friday 8 p.m.) and
Saturday & Sunday after closing (currently closing is 5:00 p.m.)
3 - 4 hours each day with the potential to increase. Responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of the areas assigned. The incumbent is accountable for the completion of assigned duties with a minimum level of supervision. Duties may include, but are not limited to sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, trash removal, window washing, and other general cleaning responsibilities.
